The latest technological breakthroughs in nano technology have led to the development of some incredible coating materials that are both water resistant but will self clean by removing dust when water touches them.
.
These nano coatings were recently featured by Richard Hammond in his BBC 1 documentary called ” The Invisible World “ and are based around the incredible natural ability of the lotus leaf to remain clean and dry whilst also still being able to breathe. In essence the idea is very similar to the teflon effect of non stick frying pans , only more advanced.
.
This technolgy has now been incorporated into a range of self cleaning coloured renders and paints for the outside of buildings in both the domestic and commercial sectors. The benefits are numerous but the lack of maintenance required is obviously of prime importance along with the ability to stay looking clean and fresh ie kerb appeal !
.
We have been appointed as an accredited distributor and installer of these wonderful new paints and renders and so would welcome the chance to talk to you about how you might benefit from the clever use of this cutting edge technology.
